In conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health, the Jefferson Parish Water Department is issuing a boil water advisory for Grand Isle as well as the Privateer side of Barataria due to a loss of pressure in the distribution system caused by a broken water main. Customers will need to boil their water until the advisory has been rescinded.
