The results of the most recent United States Census confirm that the residents of Grand Isle have maintained a sufficient population to keep “town” status. There is absolutely no truth to any rumor that there has been a population decline that affects the status of the Town of Grand Isle. The status of the Town of Grand Isle will remain as a “town” and will not change to a “village.” We are both happy and proud that despite the challenges we have faced with these devastating storms, we have maintained our population and status as the “Town of Grand Isle” and that will be maintained throughout the 2030 United States census. The future of the town of Grand Isle is very bright and we are working hard to not only bring Grand Isle back, but make it better and stronger than ever!
