The Town of Grand Isle’s Building Department is out accessing damage to structures caused by Hurricane Ida. At this time, you are allowed to make minor repairs to keep the elements out of your home until our permit department is able to open. We are hoping to be available the week of September 20-24th to issue permits.
Once we are open, everyone that is doing repairs is required to have a permit. An update concerning our permit department location will be out in a couple days.
