Hurricane Delta Update
UPDATE October 10, 2020: As of 8:30 a.m. mandatory evacuation has been lifted. LA Hwy 1 is open coming to Grand Isle with some debris in places. Curfew is also no longer active. Some lanes on the north side and areas in Chenier still has water from high tide.

Voluntary Evacuation
Mayor David Camardelle called a voluntary Evacuation asking campers/ RVs and boats to evacuate as of 8:00 a.m., September 13, 2020 due to the possibility of Tropical Storm Sally coming close to Grand Isle and causing coastal flooding.
